what black waste is home to my children

what black waste is home to my children
others meditate to find peace
we find rage

moving over the land there are two spirits
the spirit of the dead and of the living

twilit in cactus
the warm welcoming hearth harbors suicide and murder
while the alien mountains
skeletal fingers
are the shoots of life
