Speaks the Logos: “No Longer, Oh Woe”

You must be able to
walk past a flock of geese
and not disturb
nor cause a squeak
or honk of fear
amongst them

and even ants
will crawl
over every pore
of your flesh
smeared in honey
and not take
a single bite
but rescue each drop
of crystalline sugar
to steal home to their queen

and the gnats
will fly up your nose
and swarm to your fruit
and come by the rank
of ten thousand fungi eggs
to plague
the finer art of living

and they will head straight
for the moisture
in your eyes
if you shed one tear
or lament instead
of taking action

but angelic riddles came to me
in fragmented dreams
and scolded my name
for not remembering
the things I had yet to learn

and we will know
a higher state of peace
even if it means
first swimming through
the wasteland of bog and abyss

lions can gnaw on my kidneys
vultures can lick clean my bones
hyenas can curse my ears
vipers can pierce my toes

but still Talia
will cradle my heart
and Christ
consume my consciousness

The dark wizards
of the WEF
and the king apes
of banking finance
and the pervert swine
propagandizing filth
and the heavy head
that wears
such a sordid crown

thrashing madly
in a bitter death throe

so summon all
the sorry demons
you can muster
in the final breath
before asphyxiation
because this creepy
circus sideshow
was doomed
from the first sigh
of the holy spirit’s script
