living deliberately

i am living the walden in my mind
communing with nature
communing with society
seeing the flora, fauna, the humanity as one

a breeze through the trees
creates meditative waves
similar to the oceans or the great lakes

i take it in
with enlightened eyes
i see the landscape as if for the first time
when consciousness eased its way through
the remnants of a bicameral mind
