Neimoller’s litany

They’ve forgotten, perhaps they ne’er learned that
Neimoller’s litany…”when they came for…”
Struck deep into the heart of the matter

If one group is
Shunned
Banned
Prohibited
Denied
Persecuted…

The angle of downward slope increases
The list grows
Gravity takes hold
Downward
Downward
we all fall down
In Arizona—2019
Folks there want to be controversy free…
Smear the facts that you find disagreeable
With a false salve of fairness and
Gravity takes hold
Downward
Downward
we all fall down

Wedding cakes
Evolution
Climate change

They’ve forgotten, perhaps they ne’er learned that we all fall down
