A Picture for Posterity
by Mihaela Melnic / November 3rd, 2024
The worldly showman has returned. He was kept away from his own circus for too long
but now French fries are served behind closed doors
as factions clash
over new guns or higher walls –
this makes a highly aesthetic picture to launch into the universe; the one hundred sixteenth click for the posterity –
And what about the creatures of the globe?
Hands tied, blindfolded… so willingly,
like at a séance to not scare away the ghosts.
But what could go real wrong
when hot anesthetic fries are dipped in blood red sauce?
