While wings wait (Photo: Faye Sarras)
Summer sun hot till late
Feathered life resting
while wings wait
After hours, flying high.
Floating, feeding emitting sighs,
in currents rich and rough
Not only birds look for nesting
Relief is sought from all that‘s tough.
