The length of a window (Photo: Faye Sarras)
No less a sigh,
a raindrop slid
the length of a window
behind affection hid.
An hour past
cigar smoke chilled
memories last
like bottles unfilled.
Think not too much why
again those distant eyes
into words so spoken spy.
