For whom the road rolls

Step behind or leap ahead (Photo: Faye Sarras)

Struck or fallen underway
Paved to where intentions dwell
Hit by wind or light of day
Woven wings, coarsely sing
Step behind or leap ahead
Saved with care each space
Strained moves no need to dread
A brittle bell for thee doth ring.
