That space an open secret (Photo: Faye Sarras)

Nestled in the shade
Supporting all my age
Timbers, tiles and sediment
I sat where none could see
That space an open secret
Once she sang on that stage
Cymbals, smiles and sentiment
Neither her voice nor eyes did fade.
