Dashu

By one tree only (Photo: Faye Sarras)

Walking through the dusty sunshine,
along the path of flower fairies,
taken by their early escape,
seeds of summer catch my skirts.
Shaded by one tree only,
cooled by fragrant dew only
from memories of grass and wine,
I feel my shadow taking shape.
