The Land of Confusion

A major hurricane
is coming to Florida.
Experts say the worst
in a hundred years.
While our president jokes
with rabid supporters
far away, dry and safe.
A better person
would go near the scene,
rally help, not votes,
too dumb to know
disaster is more important
then partisan politics.
But he’s what we have
and the scariest thing
is how many Americans
think he’s doing well.
