The Pressure of History

The pressure of history
leaves me gasping for air.
How will we be seen so
many years from now as
the people who lived in
this place and could do
little to corral the hateful
rhetoric and actions of
blind leaders? I feel for
those who will come into
this world that has lost
its mind and thinking this
is the way it has always been.
What is so great about this?
