many

many politicians
selfishly exploit their constituents
by saying what has to be said for them
to win an e-lec-tion

and

many theologians
spout theological foundations which are insecurely built on sand
they talk about life and a divine connection
instead of life via natural se-lec-tion

and

many scientists
many scholars
quiet far too long
dropped the ball–so to speak
with regard to facts and thoughts en-light-en-ing

and

many regular folk
wanting to fit-in
allow themselves to follow
for it takes a dissident voice to break from the crowd
and that can be downright fright-en-ing
