The View
by Stefanie Bennett / October 22nd, 2017
Acrostically we ploughed the vineyard
And found
The taxman ingesting spleen.
Cautiously we then exported the ox
But the billabong
Rose like twin-tides.
Without… alms
We hit
Bed-rock.
In the Metropolis
It’s believed
‘People such as these’
Beg with wrists
Already
Severed.
