Freedom Tears
by Adam Levon Brown / February 26th, 2017
Human Be(nign)
trapped in
glass pastures
Silhouetting on
broken lampshade
carnival masquerade
Speed hitch
Crack tail
Smash ruby
Molotov
Mayhem
Spitting ocean-side
debris down
Metaphysical
Cruise control
Rocket-Splat
You can hear the
boys in black stretch
their USA-made leather
gloves
Light strangles
beauty in the darkness
Permeating flood
wash-cloth
chloroform
God bless
our holy union
As the Boys in Black
do surely.
Another day,
another future
ended in the name
of progress
Makeshift
Machiavelli
turnstile
spinning on
repeat
