Bounty

There are couches where cats lie
and houses in which men die
there are bedraggled saints and
saintly sinners
All is a lie
there are corporations which
entangle mafia mists
take art and literature
to the rich
there are festivals galore
to make selling allure
all this happens when personalities
with the buck
run amuck
to create a world where the needy
live in perfect tandem with the greedy.
I am not talking of any one country
But operators who are in bounty.
