manifest destiny

sprinkle a little nuclear waste
along your garden wall and
soon you will be free of “all creatures great and small”

then…

let us reconsider the old neutron bomb
living things it will devastate while it does create a real estate boom boom boom

so…

keep your tired
keep your poor
keep your huddled masses

for…

we built a wall and
we closed our doors

enlightenment denied

our borders are now glowing
our manifest destiny showing
because god is on our side
