Metal Seeds
by Teresa Mei Chuc / April 24th, 2016
metal seeds planted
into the fertile soil
Mother Earth
what strange petals
and sounds
will bloom from her depths?
I fear for the farmers
and their children
like them
I also love to run
in rice fields
walk through jungles
place my bare feet
on the earth
that once knew only how to love
