Aafia Siddiqui Sentenced: A Grievous Miscarriage of Justice

On September 23 in federal court, US District Court Judge, Richard Berman sentenced political prisoner, Aafia Siddiqui, to 86 years in prison. Outrage most accurately expresses this gross miscarriage of justice, compounding what she’s already endured following her March 30, 2003 abduction, imprisonment, torture, prosecution, and conviction on bogus charges. ((Earlier articles explained her case in detail.  See here, here, and here.))

In modern times, she’s one of American depravity’s most aggrieved victims, now given a virtual life sentence for a crime she didn’t, and couldn’t have, committed, explained in the above articles.

In recent months, she’s been in New York’s Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in maximum security solitary confinement, during her trial, conviction and September 23 sentencing. Importantly, her life was effectively destroyed by years of horrific tortures, repeated rapings, and other abuses in Bagram Prison at America’s Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan.

Addressing the court, said said “I’m not paranoid. I’m not mentally ill. I don’t agree with” anyone saying so, though it’s hard imagining why not after years of horrific brutalization.

A Pakistani/American scientist, years of torture and abuse destroyed her persona, yet somehow she survived and endured more stress from prosecution, a travesty of a trial, conviction and sentencing.

Reporting on the court’s decision, the BBC repeated government lies, including her possessing bomb making instructions to blow up New York landmarks – “evidence that she was a potentially dangerous terrorist.” Yet her indictment was on totally different charges – preposterous ones accusing her of the following:

In the presence of two FBI agents, two Army interpreters, and three US Army officers, this frail 110 pound woman allegedly assaulted three of them, seized one of their rifles, opened fire at close range, hit no one, yet she alone was severely wounded.

At trial, no credible evidence was presented. The charges were concocted and bogus. None accused her of plotting to blow up New York or any other landmarks or facilities.

Yet proceedings were carefully orchestrated. Witnesses were enlisted, pressured, coerced, and/or bribed to cooperate. Jurors were then intimidated to convict, her attorney Elaine Whitfield Sharp, saying their verdict was “based on fear, not fact.” No evidence was presented except claims government prosecutors invented to convict.

The International Tribune also highlighted today’s proceedings, headlining “Dr. Aafia sentenced to 86 years imprisonment,” saying:

It was on seven counts “for allegedly firing at US troops in Afghanistan.” After the announcement, protests erupted across Pakistan. In Karachi, civil society and political party workers rallied “in front of the Karachi Press Club….ask(ing) the federal government” to intervene on her behalf.

Jamaat-e-Islami, PASBAN, Defense of Human Rights, and other civil society members marched toward the US Embassy, expressing outrage and demanding she be released “as a goodwill gesture.”

“Advisor to Sindh Chief Minister, Ms. Sharmila Farooqui, asked the United States to release (her) on humanitarian (grounds) as a goodwill gesture to Pakistan…. Now is the time for the US to show goodness and pardon a Pakistani woman who is innocent.”

Farooqui said Aafia was wrongly abducted, then handed over to US authorities. She’s “an innocent woman,” outrageously treated, convicted and sentenced.

Explaining further she said:

“In Islam and Pakistan, handing over a woman to foreign countries is a sin, but it is a pity that an innocent woman was mercilessly given in(to the) hands of the (previous) US” government.

She also urged international human rights organizations to actively pursue her release.

A Final Comment

At issue is 9/11 truth, the subsequent bogus “war on terror” based on a lie, America’s war on Islam that followed against Iraq, Afghanistan, and Muslim Americans, victimized for political advantage. Aafia is perhaps its most aggrieved living victim, her persona destroyed and life ended by a virtual life sentence unless clemency or world pressure saves her.

Her case should incite everyone’s moral outrage. It also reveals America’s true face, its rogue agenda, targeting Muslims for their faith and ethnicity, making us all equally vulnerable.

Now compare Berman’s judgement with another Jew Judge Michael B. Mukasey (later promoted to become US Attorney General), who set free 140 Israelis arrested for espionage in the US (ABC News 20/20) after 9/11. How about the Jewish campaign in support of Sakineh Mohammadi-Ashtiani, the Iranian woman sentenced for adultery – proving that in American justice, being raped is a serious crime while having sex out of marriage is a ‘civilized act’.

Personally, I hate to compare Iran’s independent Judiciary with the politically-baised US Judiciary – but just for the comparison sake would like to mention Tehran’s release of US Jew woman Sarah Shourd, accused of espionage, on health reason. Under Iranian Constitution, a crime against the State, if proved in court of law, is punishable with death. This law applies to all Iranian citizens including Ahmadinejad and Ayatullah Khamenei, the Spiritual Leader and Supreme Commander of Iran’s Armed Forces. Furthermore, Iranian Constitution doesn’t give the country’s President the power to ‘pardon’ criminals and traitors as the US, French and German head of states have the ‘Constitutional power’ to do. Bill Clinton has the record ‘pardons’ of over 400 during his last few months in the White House.

On March 4, 2010 – In a letter Pakistan’s former CJCSC and Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral Iftikhar Ahmed Sirohey, explained to former Zionist puppet and US Secretary of State, Gen. Colin Powell, Dr. Aafia’s inhuman treatment at the hands of her captors and the US authorities and appealed to his Christian moral conscience to help Dr. Aafia get fair justice. The world-famous Pakistani Cricketer, former son-in-law of British Jew billionaire, Lord Goldsmith, and Pakistan’s leading politician – Imran Khan also had demanded Dr. Aafia’s release from US detention.

Dr. Aafia Siddiqui, a Muslim mother of three children with the youngest only five months old – was kidnapped in 2003 in Pakistan and held in US captivity since then. Since then she has been renditioned, detained in a secret prison for five years enduring systematic rape and torture, humiliated and oppressed. Now after seven year Aafia has been convicted for a life sentence by a US court for being an Al-Qaeda operative who “attempted” to kill an abusive Marine and FBI agent. Let us not forget the 16-year-old Canadian Muslim Omar Khadr, who was captured in Afghanistan in 2002 and is still rottening in a US jail for allegedly killing a US Army medic. This is the same US justice system which released hundreds of Israeli Jews arrested for allegedly involved in 9/11 – thanks to Zionist Jew Federal Judge, Michael Chertoff (later appointed head of US Homeland Security Department).

Terrible. No words. Aafia has also lost her children, and no one knows if they are alive or dead. To think that the UK is an ally of this deepest evil veiling its Atlantic alliance with this fascist behemoth. Our appeals for Aafia were ignored. Smooth, cunning, unprincipled, bloody Britain.

I hope that the sentence is appealed against.

PS Jeremy Paxman, one of ZBC’s premier presenters and reputed to take £1m in salary, was speaking on Newsnight to a Pakistani journalist who had just returned from a visit to Pakistan.

‘Why is +your+ country so corrupt’ he asked.

The other interviewee in the segment was Lord Malloch Brown, an ex NuLabour minister and now scouring the planet for as many ‘jobs for the boys’ that he can line up for himself, in the style of B£iar. He was previously sliming around the UN as deputy to Annan, Secretary General.

    and many similar.

    Again no words.

The sentencing of Siddiqi to such a diabolically disproportionate sentence, by the Jew Berman, is in my opinion, an act of savage viciousness, but, really, who can possibly be surprised? Normally the religion or ethnicity of a judge ought to be irrelevant, but in this case it is plainly sickeningly germane.
Not only was Siddiqi actually the victim of US viciousness and sadism, and the disappearance of her three children sinister and diabolical (and typically unmentioned by the vermin of the Western media hate apparatus)and the alleged circumstances of her ‘crime’ preposterous, unbelievable and contemptible in their arrogant mendacity, but the comparison with other judgments of the US ‘justice’ system, nauseating in the sheer audacity of the double-standards and hypocrisy. Rehmat outlines one hideous example, but we also have the recent release of the Mossad killer apprehended in Poland over the Dubai ritual killing, and allowed to safely return to the rat’s nest, and the even more repulsive example of the Mavi Marmara. Apparently in a world governed by Judaic law, where killing civilians is a mitzvah,or good deed, where killing children is also sacramental if they were going to grow up to ‘oppose’ the Jews and where bombing children with white phosphorus is evidence of the Jews unique ‘moral purity’, killing nine civilians with multiple 9mm bullets fired into the head is also a blameless act of religious observance. Clearly the vermin of the Western media sewer, who pushed the Israeli line relentlessly and deliberately ignored or vilified the scores of witnesses who, without exception, contradicted the Holy Lies, think so, but then again, their jobs and livelihoods depend on it.
One also wonders how Berman, no doubt with that legendary Jewish intelligence that leaves the rest of us gobsmacked in admiration, arrived at the precise figure of 86 years? Why not 85 or 87, or a million for that matter? Did he consult his Rabbi,or perhaps the Kabbalah, for some mystical inspiration? And did the exercise of his merciless vindictiveness elicit any excitement on his part? Did he have to wiggle on his judicial/Judaic throne and adjust his robes to hide his excitation as he delivered his ‘morally pure’ sentence?
This is yet another clear indication of just how vicious, cruel, sadistic and vengeful these creatures are. The hatred, the total lack of human empathy (Berman would have known, of course, of the horrors Siddiqi had endured and the terror of the disappearance of her children)the indifference to suffering, are all typical of the fascist and the psychopath, and their Jewish manifestation, the Judeofascist or Zionazi. Their cruelty grows the more hypertrophied the greater the resistance to their savagery and depredations, and, given the plain fact that they regard all non-Jews as animals, and are joined in that conviction,in regard to Moslems, by their Sabbat Goy and Christian Zionist’ stooges, it must end in absolute horror. The several million Moslems killed in the Middle East since 1947 seem, plainly to be just the first of God knows how many more to come. The descent of Israel, the West and the Right, so carefully and assiduously promoted by the Zionists, into a real maelstrom of race and religious hatred seems unable to be halted. The sheer momentum that the juggernaut has already achieved makes avoiding a global religious war (if it can be said that it has not, already, broken out)seem an implausible hope.

It’s strange that none of the regulars of the other side – catguy, PatrickSMcNally, MichaelKenny, Ellen Lau et alia – have nothing to say concerning this topic, ie the zionazification of the American – and not only American – justice system…

And Mulga it look’s like the Mid East first spot water the fight for water has already started a few more spots not to far behind and the best of times not really but to make a real try boring it would not be. Change can be hard but this time to not change hard is the wrong word. Maybe embrace the status quo go to the tea Party rally in Beverly Hills and listen to Pat Boone sing then go to Rodeo drive and dream. I wonder if Pat Boone will wear white pants and maybe a red belt. Heck then go golfing and get a caddy that knows which way the wind blows.

The sentence only seems harsh to those unfamiliar with the true extent of the mean spirited draconian nastiness of the US “justice” system. This sentence is not extreme, it is pretty normal for anyone considered untermenchen by respectable Americans.

There is more than enough evidence already in the public domain to make denial that Aafia Siddiqui was in US custody for the 5 years during which the US asserts she was roaming the world working for Al Queada absurd.

Her trial was a show trial but it was either botched or it was the kind of show trial where the perpetrators want it known that it is a show trial.
As far as the US is concerned, all Muslims and all Arabs are guilty of the 9 November aeroplaning of the twin towers, the Pentagon and a field in Pensylvania and thus any conviction of one is just and any sentence well deserved. If Aafia Siddiqui does not hate America, she is out of touch with reality and the Americans know that she hates them, and the NY trial can be seen as punishment for this presumed hate.

Those who use an unlimited Google search for “Aafia Siddiqui” will be buried in hits. One can use Google Advanced Search limited to an individual domain or computer. Left and libertarian sites that readers of Dissident Voice already know are good targets for such limited searches.
