Beachcombing
by Douglas Smith / March 18th, 2018
A message from the sun –
if all is one
then I am done
Amber is the drug
that helps the bug
end its struggling
The blind elephant
lays its trunk
on the arm of a cow
In a fleeting world
naught to grasp but
this ball point pen
Writing in wet sand –
scribbles interspersed
with swirling surf
