Blubber Babble Boisterous Bingo

The only problem present
is not accepting reality
or feeling ill-equipped to handle it

Well, I’m a little dopey
at this point in the new world order
but just as determined as ever
to resist the sway and pull free forever

Hey, baby, help me see clear
past these chemicals in the food
and these dilated pupils
lit up in the night
with needles guiding
their lunatic frenzy

Jesus Christ, son, show a bit
of confidence
even swagger when it’s proper
to peacock out bold feathers
of righteous word expressed

Yeah, I sure might be
a little dopey
but I’m not a rube
and I’m not presumed
to be consumed by the
doublespeak
Orwellian propaganda
sucking like a tick
at the fat of political flesh

For the love of Buddha,
if you’re still afraid
to stand against
such a vile system
at this point in its
atrophic state of decay
then your karma is rotten
at its core
so sorry
and you’ll have to go
through the whole sleazy cycle again
with the scarlet letter
of cowardice
hung around a burdened heart

So why not transcend nirvana
and call a hoax
on the hex
these bastards have spun
and spelled upon us

black magic hocus-pocus
well, abracadabra, darlings

we’ve called bullshit
in the pasture
with a mountain
of evidence
to pile atop your case

Let the Tao
have its final say
about renaissance
and revolution
