Forever

If “eternity” the absence of
Time, then it was unnecessary
for me to be as scared as
I was over the thought of
forever and ever, because
absence of Time means no reason
to kill Time; no reason to “do” Time;
no need to plan, no waiting around
for death (no death), nothing to
look forward to, because no future–
no past, only an eternal present, ever-
tending “here” and “now.”
