Shady Camouflage
by Ananya S. Guha / November 9th, 2025
There is history,
Replete with wars
And man going to Mars
Scattered bodies in luminous
Skies lighting up starry
Nights
Now battles are short in
Fits and starts
Continuing for days
The science of art
Can victory come
In a day or two?
To kill me and you
Look at the blood
Look at the blood
In darkened hood-
Our depravity
Sense of justifiability
Where is the peace
You talked about?
Find its whereabouts,
Lost among heaps
Of dead snakes
And shady camouflage.
