Myth of Ashes
by Ananya S. Guha / November 30th, 2025
A bomb blast rips a locality apart
Everything emanated
from an unsuspecting
Vicinity. The busy locality heard smashes of window panes and a deafening sound
The silence after that was equally deafening
Silences follow spaces of death
All uniformed in silence, blood soaked
A bomb blast rips the body
And signs a terrorist warning of more to come, blood after all
Has no dominion
Death has…
It all happened in the Red Fort area
Of New Delhi known for its historical sorority
But centuries old blood of an antediluvian
Character only resuscitated the myth of ashes.
