Tuning Gears
by Scott Thomas Outlar / November 10th, 2024
Remember the groove
of melody in quarters
and dimes aplenty
to dance until dawn
Put another penny
in my hammer toes
and watch the robot
gain a heart in time
Purple poppies and
blue-beaked grackles
own the hour in synch
instinct trusted by two
Multiply the prism
stretched geometry
from the center of the rose
rolling sweetly out in form
