Grass does not wait
Chewed ate even gait
Barely wafts the breeze
where life is undisturbed.
Aromas fragrant seep
from barrels rolled with ease
while spilling ancient stories
from breathing promontories.

 

Wei Santang is a scholar born and educated in the Far West in the second half of the 20th century.
