“I’m A Little Outrageous, On The Quiet”

PROFOUND ‘Global Confusion’
… attacked from the side
by a screeching, irate voice.
“You bit a Nurse…
barricaded yourself inside
a broom cupboard, claiming
to have a hostage… luck
-ily, you were lying, this time.
You graffitied the word
‘Acute’ in the Silent Corridor
13 times in your own blood
… and, have refused to speak
to anyone but Barbara…
we’ve spoken to your Next
Of Kin who’s never even
heard of a fucking Barbara?
You’ve made me ‘Swear’
out loud, 4 times this morning
… please, stop fighting us…
you are ILL, seriously ILL
… and, we’re worried about
‘Autonomic Hyperactivity’
Fuelling your Antisocial Nature.”
