Adventure maiden (Photo: Faye Sarras)
How a thousand petals hold
dripping dreams, grace in gold
aqueous where feelings float
solid treasures held remote.
By the roots, seized in season
cut, cleaned and fried in reason
Picked the sprouts in vessels laden
Collecting seeds, adventure maiden.
