Love of carbon

In Earth‘s rich mansions green (Photo: Faye Sarras)

Wakening to oxidation
Blades of grass where my feet fall
Typhoons pretending conversation
Moments seized but pensively
In Earth’s rich mansions green
Nature nurtures gardens well
Food for all that animates
Repelling nonsense with her screens.
