She graces my way

I love my planet
with every fibre of my being:-
every breath I take
every sip of wine
every ray of sun on my face,
her

she grounds me
feeds me
saturates me
grows me as she
holds me close
with the gravity
that lets me walk with dignity

she graces my way with birdsong
falling petals, rainbows,
shadows, waterfalls
and small scurrying creatures
without her
I would die

protect her
for she is everything
