a severely twisted case of affluenza:

a science fiction poem

future time perspective seconds to years remain
there could be joy, laughter, heartbreak, and pain
‘cause now facts are easily denied, truth is best when resisted
we were prepared for a world that never existed

up is now down thanks to legislation
oppositional defiance is the theme of the nation
a severely twisted case of affluenza has spread
there is no vaccine, freedom is dead

surreality is reality
reality is surreality
you are behind the curtain
what is the deal

that green wafer could be people
scientific investigations could let you know for certain
but science is generally .01 to 99.9% pure
while personal opinions, political beliefs, and myths are perfect,100% sure

future time perspective seconds to years remain
there could be joy, laughter, heartbreak, and pain
‘cause now facts are easily denied, truth is best when resisted
we were prepared for a world that never existed
