Munificence

(Belgrade)

With recent past (Photo Credit: M.V.)

When the morning storm subsides
breaking clouds, waves and tides
Waiting winds seize oranges and cherries
Patient passengers take seafaring ferries
From foggy island sleep and dreams
To sandy beaches or volcanic streams
Holding hands with recent past
Waking before their lots are cast.
