Express train

Green roofs (Photo: Faye Sarras)

Expression trained along the water,
lakes and tears and streams of sweat
Bear the fish and wash the feet,
where hearts and heaven
through melted snow
and summer rain do meet
Were the roofs so green,
the day so light,
love be protected by the night
