Buzzing Bleeps

Oh, how they drone
on and on ad infinitum
in robotic tones
hushed no longer

a phalanx marching
hungry for the singularity
that promises only
starvation of all flesh

Oh, these hybrid creatures
donning needles in their eyes
sucking dry organic life
with vampiric cravings

a zombie procession
gnawing on sinew
biting the last thread
of a conscience now snapped
