Taurus Turncoat
by Scott Thomas Outlar / February 7th, 2021
What type of bull
lies in the mud with boars
and gets sloppy with swine
whose slobbish designs
spoil the farm with foul treason?
It’s a coward, in fact,
who partakes of such acts,
swimming through the stream
that fills the degenerate trough
and rubbing sacred horns on snouts.
It’s a serpent, to wit,
dressed up for the script,
hissing its impure persuasions
with a forked-tongue of deception
and wantonly spreading vile poison.
