I’ve Come to Bottle It
by Paul Tristram / October 11th, 2020
“… is this the place
with the ‘Long-Three’
with scarred throat?
… I’ve heard
that she’s freshly
heartbroken
… and that she’s
refusing
to Grieve, alone
… in a dark backroom
of the busy
Sing-Song House
… that she’s fighting,
the absolute impossible,
publicly
… and spends
her fractured evenings
playing the Gehu
… with a
soft, suicidal,
aching-tenderness
… that’s priceless.”
