Dragon Blood

Gas lit echo chambers recycling fear
rile up all sorts of mass hysteria
and that’s one way to survive
in a constant state of trauma
but there’s a primal spark of light
reflecting from the pool of enlivened eyes
We’re swimming in the rapids now
hold your helm steady and stroke
