Energy Supernova

BOOM! I don’t just phoenix-rise-up,
like lightning hitting a volatile volcano.
Sapling to oak tree strength in record time,
the fibres of my recharged being
knit and clamp together
armour-like and magnetic.
I can see further than the quivering horizon,
and my wild, beating heart
is a deranged locomotive
pumping and thundering the adrenalin
through the racing veins
of my never-been-this-alive-before body.
Uncontainable in my motion,
unrelenting in my enthusiasm,
and as sure, swift and focused
as a shrieking arrow
SMASHING through every approaching target!
