Under Wing

Sleep calling
for such a long time,
drenched in the heavy humidity
a leaf shakes and raises tall
perhaps the prayer answered
silencing echos whispered in shadows

nestled lightly under wing
I feel the close woods rest
a breeze blowing a lullaby
softly rocking me in His grace
as I also find rest
in the Saviors arms
