Literary history and philosophy
by Paul Cech / July 22nd, 2018
Thoreau inspired marching
to the beat of a different drummer
Frost saw two paths
and recommended the least travelled
Johnny Appleseed Chapman offered
kindness and simplicity
So
I borrowed a tin hat from Johnny
I found a fine thick stick
along an old forgotten path
And
I march to the beat
of my own drum
Drum
Drum drum
Drum
Drum drum
