Censor
by Scott Thomas Outlar / June 17th, 2018
I want to censor myself
so I don’t say too much
but
I want to walk paths of yellow
and pretend they are gold
but
I want to hunt for warm blood
under moon in the waves
but
I want to chase after dragons
down holes dug by rabbits
but
I want to sin with the saints
and make amends with fallen angels
but
I want to find where it hurts
and lick wounds with silver bullets
but
I want to censor myself
so it spills out in whispers
