Surge On Ahead

Stop looking for acceptance and validation
for your heart, art, thoughts and ideas.
It’ll only slow you down
when you should be surging on ahead.
There is no real opposition or competition…
only other artists doing their own thing or arseholes,
either way they are not your concern.
Don’t get distracted by flattery, nonsense arguments
or other people’s opinions (Negative or Positive!)
Alone: you rule the warm brightness of the daytime
and champion the thoughtfulness of the night.
There’s magic at your fingertips,
power of creation inside your beautiful mind
and thunder and lightning charging your unique soul.
Soar high and tear apart the future,
stamp your name into the face of forever,
outdo your own dreams, goals and aspirations.
Never doubt, quit, complain or settle for anything
not from the brighter side of Magnificence.
