Electorate

There is caste, religion, and colour
in a blur
you take one out
the other behaves like a lout
they all want to be together
because that is how they matter
so that they can be used
unused and of course misused!
We the commoners
marvel at their way
and how they forever and ever, stay
come what may.
Now there is a story,
less than gory
how history makes a country
running nilly willy
but history they say is fiction
so let’s cause a friction
a little mess up is always good
to keep the elections up
and in a swinging mood!
