Heartbroken in Charleston: Poetic Injustice in Motion

As declared by virtue of natural birthright, all humankind are equally free to pursue life’s happiness – noble words indeed, though conceived and recorded with adjunct hypocrisy wherein the culture of wealth and race supremely allowed some to enslave unfortunate others.

God’s preference for hypocrites became unmistakably clear again when the rights and lives of Native Americans were massacred with Bible interpretations encouraging wholesale slaughter – all for God’s sake as ministered to by deceit ruling that day, and that year, and for centuries – as well as ruling over devious minds and others deceived.

Pilgrims originally came from far off lands and now free as undemocratic birds well-armed with zealous fervor, to foreign lands they flocked, relieving others of life’s liberties and sovereign justice while unequal rights selfishly imposed was only us merely playing God over whomsoever we heartlessly chose.

Self-fulfilling prophesies denounce the currently non-existent demons of hatred soon to manifest within those we now select as our new mortal enemies – and while we go on around the world devaluing life, taking whatever and whoever whenever – we shamelessly don’t wonder who the hell we think we are.

In the thickest fog of arrogance we don’t know why anyone would reject freedom and democracy as chosen by us for them – while exporting death provides our psychopathic junkies shares of totalitarian spoils – it all comes home to us now – death and destruction – and still we haven’t one single clue.

As exceptionally brainwashed people, it’s no surprise we don’t need to convince ourselves to make exceptional exceptions for our exceptional selves while deciding which ethnicities, religions and geographic lives are worthless today and ours to destroy – just as it was yesterday – the freedom to kill and destroy lives on.

Through a collective of criminal souls vacant of conscience, unconsciously existing in total darkness void of empathic emotion we wonder why we’re killing each other this very day as we so freely choose – and while anticipating just how good it will all be when there’s no more “them” to concern ourselves with – we carry on…

But those same dirty words – equality, liberty and justice for all – simply will not die – they can’t be kept from human consciousness nor stopped from seeing us through the darkest days and ages just like those that took so many lives before – while liberty and justice can only reign with the annihilation of our prevalent hypocrisy forevermore.

Mark Weiser was thrown into this world without any say as to when, or where, and to whom he would be born. He says his story is the same as all others in that respect as we all come from this same earth and began the same way. There is absolute truth in all matters among human kind, even if it’s that truth we’re afraid to acknowledge or don’t yet know. The truth where he's concerned is preferable to anything else; it’s where his search began and where it never ends. Read other articles by Mark, or visit Mark's website.
