Smelted Blood
by Scott Thomas Outlar / November 1st, 2015
The sun
is a Hallelujah symphony
to eyes
that have grown ice cold
A sweltering shine
piercing to the bones
where marrow
is a thick sludge of chaos
The sound
of razor blade light
burns precise
to the core of transubstantiation
Absolution
with renaissance fever
tickles veins
that pulse red with new hope
