Spandex Nation: a Duet

“Enough is not enough!”
he said.
“The path to satisfaction
starts with more and piles up:
Onassis on Mount Pelion.”

“It has become an axiom,”
she said.
“No second home without
an atrium
or dome.”

“No second home
without an atrium
or dome,”
he said,
“or tinted-glass solarium.”

“And no garage without
at least two cars too fat to fit!”
the two agreed.
“Plus walls
of spandex to permit
expansion of the fleet!”
