No, Mister President

We don’t want
To be kept safe from evildoers
And have our daily routines monitored
By a control freak nanny state

We don’t want
The country we live in
Sacrificed to the needs
Of a bloated and dying empire

We don’t want
A gleaming military
To protect our crumbling cities
No, Mister President

We don’t want
To be held in debt peonage
To your Wall Street contributors
Thank you anyway
