Feminist at Heart

I have always, my
Entire life, been a
Staunch advocate
For Women’s Rights.
Seeing women as
Man’s counterpart,
Not the weaker sex,
But equal in every

Respect, equal in
Full measure. Their
Advancement does
Not threaten, nor
Intimidate me, nor
Should it you. If the
Shoe were on the
Other foot, well then,

What would you do?
I admit that I feel
More comfortable
Around women than
With men. And that
Fact doesn’t make
Me effeminate in
The least, just the

Master of whom I’d
Choose to confide in,
To relate with, on a
Deeper spiritual basis.
Women have gotten
A raw deal since the
Very beginning and
It’s time for a change

In a feminine direction.
