IRS Audit

He learns business
from his immigrant boss
who sold meat
with the heaviest thumb
in three major cities.

He learns love
with a gypsy group.
Their gold filled teeth
flashed throughout the lesson
and wove incantations
that made breathing
seem insignificant
by comparison.

He learns precision
by following the example
of his mentor.
An old feisty lawyer
who found the flaws
by knowing
the most obscure case law.

Now
with all that behind him
he is about to tackle
The U.S. government.

It will be no contest!
