Americide (Cliff Notes)

ransacked dreams
idiocracy’s global rising
conmen conniving
strawmen wielding torches
bulldozed brains and
flattened spines
baffled masses
boiling in flood water
without a float or fire hose
debris the nature
of our lives
litter spewed lies
cardiac arrests
and bumpstock
babies wailing
for relief
mourning the cliff
drop body slam
reality show
spectacle –
demolition derby democracy.
who’ll wear the crown?
